Department of Pulmonology

Research

The department aims at creating new treatments based on scientific research conducted under the supervision of experts, doctor-scientists, and leading physicians.

Members of the department participate actively in early detection and lung cancer chemoprevention trials, trials to reduce lung injury due to radiation, as well as studies of pulmonary complications associated with bone marrow transplantation.
